WASTE MANAGEMENT

WASTE MANAGEMENT

Waste avoidance, recovery, and re-use in communities and industries around the world, together with the efficient management of waste facilities and waste streams, are critical elements of sustainable development.

The need to recovery and re-use of waste and harnessing the value in materials previously thought of as waste, underpins the current global approach to waste management.

RECYCL'AFRICA provides waste management services, from planning and designing to monitoring and project management to cities and towns in the valorization of waste by recycling into new products, while also returning long-term benefits to communities and the environment.

• BUSOGO SOLID WASTE TREATMENT CENTRE

  • In this Centre, RECYCL'AFRICA receives waste from Musanze City, in the Northern Province of Rwanda. The main production is organic fertilizer (compost) from organic solid waste. This compost will help rural farmers in doing organic agriculture to sustain the health of soils, ecosystems, and people.

  • There are also other waste received here such as plastics, papers, metals, and textiles which needed to be recycled into new products.
